September Spotlight Drop 1 is a good example of a Diamond Dynasty program where the order of your objectives matters. The headline reward is a 99 OVR Red Diamond Teoscar Hernández, but players need 50 Program Points before they can claim him. Instead of treating every objective as an equally important grind, it is better to collect the easiest points first and then build the rest of the progress around normal gameplay. This leaves more time for managing MLB The Show Stubs and improving the rest of your roster.

For many players, the biggest mistake is starting with full games before clearing the short content. MLB The Show Stubs can help with general roster decisions, but they are not the reason to rush through Spotlight Drop 1. The program already provides a practical free route to Hernández, along with additional cards that can help you complete the remaining PXP requirements.

Clear the Quick Content First

The standard Moments are the natural opening move. They are short, focused challenges that can usually be completed without making major changes to your team. Since the objective is to reach 50 Program Points, getting these immediate rewards out of the way gives you a much better idea of how much work remains.

Moments are also useful because they require less commitment than a complete Conquest or Mini Seasons run. You can sit down for a short session, clear several objectives, and immediately make meaningful progress toward the final reward.

Once those challenges are done, check your current total before choosing the next activity. There is no need to blindly complete every available task in sequence.

Use the Extreme Challenge Carefully

The optional Extreme Moment is the biggest potential shortcut in the program. A successful completion can provide a large number of Program Points and reduce the amount of PXP grinding required later.

The key word is efficient. If you already have the necessary skills and can complete the challenge without many attempts, it is an excellent part of the route. If you are repeatedly restarting the same challenge, however, the time saved on paper may disappear quickly.

Players should treat the Extreme Moment as an option rather than a requirement. The goal is to reach Hernández efficiently, not to prove that every difficult challenge has to be completed.

Let PXP Build Naturally

After the fast objectives are finished, PXP missions become the most practical way to close the gap. The program gives you 97 OVR Luis Campusano and 97 OVR Lazaro Montes, and both can become useful pieces of the lineup while you work toward additional progress.

Conquest and Mini Seasons are especially convenient because they let you combine program progress with normal Diamond Dynasty activity. Instead of creating a separate grind for every objective, put the relevant players into your lineup and let their PXP accumulate during games.

This approach is particularly helpful for players who prefer longer sessions. A few games can contribute to several goals at once, making the final stretch less repetitive.

Do Not Ignore the Intermediate Rewards

Teoscar Hernández may be the card everyone is watching, but the earlier rewards are part of what makes the program worthwhile. Campusano and Montes provide 97 OVR Topps Now options, while September Spotlight Pack 1 gives players a chance to obtain another high-rated card.

The pack can include a chance at 99 OVR Bryan Woo or 99 OVR Thomas Saggese. That means the program offers useful content before the final 50-point milestone, rather than making Hernández the only reason to participate.

This also means you can improve your lineup while completing the program. Newly acquired players can contribute to PXP, while the final reward gives you another strong option for your outfield.

Finish With a Focused Plan

The most efficient approach is simple: finish the standard Moments first, attempt the Extreme Moment if you can complete it efficiently, and then use the program players in regular modes to earn the remaining PXP. There is no need to change your entire schedule around the program.

If you are careful with your overall Diamond Dynasty spending, you can also keep your MLB Stubs available for moves that genuinely improve your team rather than spending resources simply to avoid a manageable grind.

Why the Route Works

Spotlight Drop 1 rewards players who approach it strategically. The short Moments provide immediate progress, the Extreme challenge can cut down the remaining workload, and PXP missions allow normal games to finish the job. Once 50 Program Points are reached, 99 OVR Teoscar Hernández is yours, giving the September program a clear and worthwhile finish.
